Well, I have come to the conclusion that the person who rewired my
trailer last is either an idiot or did not care. The first thing I had to repair (the day after I got it) was the ground wire. The moron cut the ground lead and was relying on the ball for ground, which is unreliable at best. Today I added lights tot he top of the ramp so I can actually see the back of the trailer at night. Being all black, the trailer disappears at night and makes for interesting lane changes. While I was at it, I re-hooked up the front corner marker lights. When the trailer was rewired, they didn't bother to hook them back up. Both worked just fine. They just needed to be hooked up is all. |
